AKRC is situated on Lower Mall, a pedestrian walkway on the north bank of the
Thames west of Hammersmith Bridge. The club is sandwiched between two
famous pubs: the Blue Anchor and the Rutland. Car parking in the area is
very limited so we recommend that you travel by public transport.
Public Transport:
Take a train or a bus to Hammersmith. There is a large combined bus and
tube station at Hammersmith Broadway. Take the south exit, adjacent to
Tesco Metro. This will be signposted for the Apollo. Take the subway
under the main road. At the end of the subway take the stairs to the right
to bring you up outside the front of the Apollo. Walk around the front of
the Apollo and turn left down Queen Caroline Street. This road takes you
down to the river. Follow the footpath that goes off to the right under
Hammersmith Bridge. The Club is some 100 yards past the bridge.
Parking:
The nearest parking is pay and display bays in Mall Road and Rutland Grove.
The charge is £1.60 per hour until 6.30pm.
Boat Trailers:
Because of weight restrictions, boat trailers are not allowed over
Hammersmith Bridge.
